Report generation from Excel, Word, CSV and text files

The client's data lived in many formats: Excel workbooks, Word documents, CSV exports and plain text files. I built a Python tool that reads all of them, extracts the fields the client needed, and generates the reports to their specification.

People who don't use a terminal run it, so it has a small desktop interface (PyQt5): pick the input files, choose where the reports go, adjust the options, and generate.

Built with Python, pandas and OpenPyXL for Excel and CSV, python-docx for Word, and PyQt5 for the interface.
